Enfoque y alcance
La Revista Internacional de Investigación en Ciencias de Sociales es una publicación arbitrada de carácter académico, científico, técnico. Es publicada con una periodicidad semestral (junio y diciembre), con el objetivo de fomentar el intercambio de ideas, experiencias y trabajos en el ámbito de la Educación, Empresariales, Derecho, Comunicación y Sociología. El título abreviado de la Revista es "Rev. Int. Investig. Cienc. Soc.", con número de ISSN 2225-5117 para la versión impresa y con ISSN 2226-4000 para la versión digital.
La Revista se encuentra indexada en las Bases de Datos SciELO, Latindex, DOAJ y Dialnet. La revista está dirigida a la comunidad científico-académica nacional e internacional que realiza estudios afines con el área temática de la misma. Abierta a artículos originales resultantes de proyectos de investigación u otras investigaciones originales significativas para el área específica de la revista. Se exige que las contribuciones que concursan sean originales, inéditas y no se encuentren postuladas de manera simultánea en otras revistas.
Focus and scope
The International Journal of Research in Social Sciences is a peer-reviewed academic, scientific, and technical journal. It is published every six months (June and December), with the aim of promoting the exchange of ideas, experiences and work in the fields of Education, Business, Law, Communication and Sociology. The abbreviated title of the Journal is "Rev. Int. Investig. Cienc. Soc.", with ISSN number 2225-5117 for the printed version and with ISSN 2226-4000 for the digital version.
The Journal is indexed in the SciELO, Latindex, DOAJ and Dialnet Databases. The journal is aimed at the national and international scientific-academic community that carries out studies related to its thematic area. Open to original articles resulting from research projects or other original research significant to the specific area of the journal. It is required that the contributions that compete are original, unpublished and not simultaneously submitted in other journals
Proceso de evaluación por pares
Los trabajos recibidos serán evaluados por un Comité Científico compuesto por pares académicos externos internacionales y nacionales. El proceso de arbitraje de los artículos, se realiza en la modalidad de doble ciego, garantizando la confidencialidad y anonimato de autores y árbitros. Los evaluadores son seleccionados por sus conocimientos en los temas cubiertos por cada artículo. Los criterios de evaluación son: la originalidad del contenido, el rigor conceptual, los aspectos metodológicos, la claridad y la coherencia, la calidad de la fuentes y las referencias, el aporte al conocimiento, una buena presentación del resumen, pertinencia del título y de las conclusiones.
La función de los pares consiste en evaluar el trabajo presentado y dictaminar en una de las cuatro opciones: 1) Aceptado; 2) Aceptado con modificaciones; 3) Devolución para su corrección; 4) Rechazado. En aquellos casos en que surja una gran divergencia en los informes de los evaluadores, el Director de la Revista recurre a la opinión de un tercer árbitro externo. Si bien los evaluadores dictaminan sobre los trabajos de sus pares, la decisión final queda en mano del Director de la publicación.
- Duración estimada del proceso. Como término medio, el tiempo transcurrido entre la recepción del artículo y la decisión de aceptacióin o no del env´ío se sitúa en torno a 4 meses.
Peer review process
The works received will be evaluated by a Scientific Committee composed of international and national external academic peers. The review process of the articles is carried out in the double-blind modality, guaranteeing the confidentiality and anonymity of authors and referees. Evaluators are selected for their knowledge of the topics covered by each article. The evaluation criteria are: originality of the content, conceptual rigor, methodological aspects, clarity and coherence, quality of sources and references, contribution to knowledge, good presentation of the abstract, relevance of the title and conclusions.
The role of the peers is to evaluate the work presented and give an opinion on one of the four options: 1) Accepted; 2) Accepted with modifications; 3) Return for correction; 4) Rejected. In cases where there is a large divergence in the reports of the reviewers, the Director of the Journal resorts to the opinion of a third external referee. Although the evaluators give their opinion on the work of their peers, the final decision is in the hands of the Director of the publication.
* Estimated duration of the process. On average, the time elapsed between receipt of the article and the decision whether or not to accept the shipment is around 4 months
Fases de arbitraje de los artículos
- Recepción de artículos. Una vez recibido el trabajo, la Editora confirmará su recibo y efectuará una primera evaluación editorial para comprobar: el ámbito temático en función de los criterios editoriales de la Revista y el cumplimiento de los requisitos de presentación exigidos en las normas de publicación. Cabe aclarar que la recepción del artículo no supone su aceptación.
- Sistema de revisión y selección de trabajos. Comprobado el cumplimiento de los aspectos formales y la coherencia con la línea editorial de la Revista, el artículo será enviado de forma confidencial y anónima (doble ciego) a evaluación por parte de pares externos, quienes emitirán un informe sobre la conveniencia o no de su publicación, la que servirá de base para la selección por parte del Comité Editorial. Los trabajos revisados, que para su publicación consideren modificaciones, deberán ser corregidos y devueltos por los autores a la Revista en el plazo máximo de 30 días.
- Proceso de publicación. Una vez finalizado el proceso de evaluación, se enviará al autor principal del trabajo la notificación de aceptación o rechazo de su publicación.
Article Arbitration Phases
- Receipt of articles. Once the work has been received, the Publisher will confirm its receipt and will carry out an initial editorial evaluation to verify: the thematic scope according to the editorial criteria of the Journal and compliance with the presentation requirements demanded in the publication rules. It should be clarified that the receipt of the article does not imply its acceptance.
- Work review and selection system. Once compliance with the formal aspects and coherence with the editorial line of the Journal has been verified, the article will be sent confidentially and anonymously (double-blind) for evaluation by external peers, who will issue a report on the convenience or not of its publication, which will serve as the basis for selection by the Editorial Committee. Revised papers, which consider modifications for publication, must be corrected and returned by the authors to the Journal within a maximum period of 30 days.
- Publication process. Once the evaluation process has been completed, the main author of the work will be sent the notification of acceptance or rejection of its publication.
Frecuencia de Publicación
La frecuencia de publicación de la revista es semestral, junio y diciembre.

The frequency of publication of the journal is biannual, June and December.

LA DECLARACIÓN DE ÉTICA SOBRE PUBLICACIÓN Y MALAS PRÁCTICAS QUE ESTABLECE LA REVISTA DE EDUCACIÓN INCLUSIVA, SE APOYA EN LAS RECOMENDACIONES SOBRE BUENAS PRÁCTICAS QUE OFRECE EL COMITÉ DE ÉTICA PARA LAS PUBICACIONES (COPE)
1. El equipo editorial tomará las medidas oportunas para por la identificación y prevención de la publicación de artículos que puedan incurrir en conductas negligentes o inapropiadas.
2. El equipo editorial está dispuesto para publicar las correcciones, aclaraciones y retractaciones y disculpas necesarias cuando sea necesario.
3. Para ello, el consejo editorial se reunirá con carácter previo a la publicación de cada número para controlar que los artículo a publicar cumplen con los principios éticos de la publicación científica
